Change the default receipt printer for iPad

How to change the default order printer for an individual iPad.


**IMPORTANT** These settings are set up on a PER iPad BASES. This will need to be set for every iPad on site.

First, we will start by switching to the Kitchen Order tab by selecting the button with 3 lines top left.

Selecting that will show all the different tabs we are able to select. We will now select the “Kitchen Order” tab to switch over.

From this new page, we can see all the KDS tickets that are in the system. We will go to the blue cog/gear at the top right of the screen to get to the settings for the KDS.

From here, we can see the “Default Receipt Printer” drop-down. Selecting this will bring up a new pop-up on the page.

From here, we can select the printer we wish to be default for order receipts. We can see every printer that is available for this location.
**IMPORTANT** This will be the default printer for where receipts print out after an order is paid for and the receipt is printed.

After selecting the printer we wish to set as default, we can hit the “Save” button at the bottom right to finalize this change for this iPad. We can see this change when we take an order for a customer and after they pay, it will print the receipt off the selected printer as its default.
