Fix Your Settings After Deleting and Reinstalling Your App

If you deleted and reinstalled Table Needs on any devices, you may need to update a few settings to get it back to the way it was before. This is necessary on each device where Table Needs was deleted and reinstalled:

 

If the device is a KDS

  • Set the correct destination in the upper left on the KDS

  • in the KDS settings menu (blue gear in the upper right on the KDS)

    • set expo mode to on /off (turning it off means that the Open tab on the KDS will not see tickets beyond the In Progress status)

    • set intermediate statuses: This gives you the option to skip the In Progress or Complete status for all tickets, if that works better for your flow

  • Enable/Disable the KDS Ticket Sounds and Interval to your preference

If the device is a POS with an attached receipt printer and/or cash drawer

  • Go the the KDS tab

  • Open the KDS settings menu (blue gear in the upper right on the KDS)

  • set the Default Receipt Printer
