# How to Manage Your Table Needs Loyalty Program
## Learn how to manage and maintain your customer loyalty program in the Table Needs POS System.
Your **Table Needs Loyalty Program** lets customers earn points and redeem them for discounts or free items. You can turn the program on or off, adjust how customers earn and redeem points, and review your member list all from your loyalty program settings. This guide walks you through viewing your program details, editing your earning and redemption rules, and activating or deactivating the program.
### **Getting to Your Loyalty Program Settings**
1. From the sidebar, click **Settings** to open your settings menu.
2. Click **Loyalty Program**.
This opens your loyalty program dashboard, where you can see everything about your program at a glance.
**What You'll See on the Dashboard**
Your loyalty program dashboard shows:
- **Program status** — whether your loyalty program is currently active or inactive.
- **Earning rules** — how customers earn points. For example, one dollar spent might earn one point.
- **Redemption rules** — how customers use their points. For example, every 100 points might equal a dollar off a future item.
- **Quick overview** — a summary of your redemption type, points per discount, minimum points to redeem, and minimum order requirements.
- **Members** — a count of customers enrolled in your loyalty program. Click into this to see your full member list.
- **View Reports** — takes you to the reporting dashboard for loyalty program performance.
### **Editing Your Loyalty Program Settings**
From the loyalty program dashboard, click **Edit Settings**. This opens the editing manager.
#### **Turn the Program On or Off**
At the top of the editing manager, you'll see a toggle for your program status. If the program is active, click the toggle to deactivate it. When the program is inactive, customers cannot earn or redeem points. Click the toggle again to reactivate it.
#### **Change Your Earning Rules**
Under the earning rules section, you can adjust:
- **Earning type** — choose between *per amount spent* or *per visit*.
- **Points earned on** — decide whether points accrue on the *pre-discount subtotal* or the *total amount paid*.
- **Points per dollar spent** — set how many points customers earn for each dollar.
- **Minimum spend to earn points** — require a minimum purchase amount before points are awarded.
- **Maximum points per day** — cap how many points a customer can earn in a single day.
- **Sign-up bonus points** — award bonus points when a new customer joins the program.
#### **Change Your Redemption Rules**
Under the redemption rules section, you can adjust:
- **Redemption type** — choose between a *discount* (dollar amount off) or a *free item*.
- **Points per dollar of discount** — set how many points equal each dollar of the discount.
- **Minimum points to redeem** — require a minimum point balance before customers can use their points.
- **Minimum order subtotal** — require a minimum purchase amount before points can be redeemed (for example, customers must spend at least $10 before applying points).
#### **Saving Your Changes**
When you're done making changes, click **Save Settings** at the bottom of the editing manager. You'll see a confirmation message that your loyalty program settings have been saved, and your dashboard will update to reflect the changes.
