# How to open the Cash Drawer

## This article demonstrates how to open the Cash Drawer button in the Table Needs POS system app.

 

The **Cash Drawer** button in the Table Needs POS system app allows you to open the cash drawer when needed. Follow these steps to locate and use it efficiently.

### 1. Access the POS System

- Open the **Table Needs POS** app on your device.
- Log in using your credentials if prompted.

### 2. Navigate to the Cash Drawer Button

- From the main **Order Screen**, 
  
  Tap the **plus sign (+)** button as if you were going to begin a new order.
- Tap on the 3-dot button at the bottom left of your screen
- Once you **"Cash Drawer"** the cash box should open automatically
