How to remove an item from a check
How to remove an unwanted item from a check before payment.
First we will want to locate the check we want to remove the item from. Go to the open orders screen and scroll down to the open check we want to remove items from. Select it to see the information for the check. There will be an itemized list to the left of the screen that will show every item that is on the check. Select an item that we wish to remove. It will bring up a new pop up on the screen. Bottom right will be a button that says “Remove Item”. We will select this and it will remove the item from the check. Continue to do this to all items that you wish to remove from the check. Once we are finished, select “Back” at the top left and make sure to select “Save” or take payment for the check and have it close out like normal.
