Troubleshooting: POS App Running Slow

3 steps to get your POS app running smoothly again.

Step 1: Restart the App

Close Table Needs completely — don't just minimize it — then reopen it. This clears out a lot of the buildup that causes slowdowns over time.


This fixes the issue in most cases. If the app feels normal after restarting, you're good to go.

Step 2: If the App Is Still Slow After Restarting

If things feel sluggish right from the moment you reopen the app, the issue is likely with the device or your internet connection — not the app itself.


Restart your device. Power it off completely, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. Open Table Needs and see if performance improves.

Step 3: Check Your Wi-Fi or Internet Connection

A weak or dropped connection can make the app feel slow even when the app itself is fine.


Quick checks:

  • Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi
  • If other devices on the same network are also slow, your internet connection may be the issue — try restarting your router
  • If one device is slow but others are fine, move closer to your router or access point and test again
